There are many rivers throughout the state that you can wade and produce excellent results. Wading trips give you the opportunity to target areas of the river not accessible to drift boats or rafts.  Wading trips can be very strenuous, challenging and can cover miles of the river on foot, so please talk to us if you or anyone in your party has any limitations. Do not worry if there is limitation, we will work with you and do our best to still give everyone the opportunity to catch the fish of their dreams. On full day excursions we will provide lunch so at time of booking speak with your guide and we will arrange your riverside lunch. Half day trips are 4 hours, full day trips are 7 hours plus lunch. More than 2 in your party contact us we will work with you. We do fish all year (except closures) depending on season and water conditions there is a lot we consider putting you on fish. Water temperature, water condition and flow are something we cannot control we will do our best to select when conditions are ideal. There is a better time of the year to fish but if you are looking to just get out at any time, we will work our hardest to make it a successful trip. Weather and river flow can cause dangerous conditions if we must move a date for everyone’s safety we will. All trips are customized to the client so when we put the trip together with you so to make sure you enjoy every second of it. These trips are for anyone no matter what fishing and fly-fishing experience you have. If you do not have any experience, we do recommend booking our Fly-Fishing School on the River alongside a guided trip. Any persons under the name of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

INFORMATION YOU NEED BEFORE YOUR TRIP
MARYLAND NON-TIDAL LICENSE AND TROUT STAMP REQUIRED 

All trips require 50% deposit due on booking of date, deposit is refundable for cancelation made 48 hours in advance. Deposits only refundable on day of if guide must cancel due weather or high river flow. We do fish in the rain not thunderstorms, rain can produce some excellent fishing.

Full payment due day of trip prior to fishing beginning. Fishing is sometimes unpredictable, and it is a uncontrollable but we will do our best to have a successful trip. We spend a lot of time on a lot of rivers learning and perfecting our skills to than bring them to you. We our so confident in our abilities that if there is no fish action we will refund 50 percent of trip. What we mean by fish action is if you have no rises on your dry fly or no strikes on your wet fly you will be eligible for refund. We will work harder than any other guide on the river to put a fish in the net.

GEAR

ROD, REEL AND TACKLE

We will provide all tackle and rods necessary for you to have a successful trip. The rods, reels and line we will provide are purposely selected for the area and species you are targeting. If you prefer to use your own rods and tackle that is ok, we carry everything you need. We do recommend a good pair of polarized sunglasses for two reasons; one helps you see into the water and two protects your eyes as you are casting. Also, a hat, it may sound funny but especially as you are learning as simple as it is a hat can save you a trip to the hospital to have a hook removed.

WADING EQUIPMENT

We always recommend studded wading boots (NO FELT), if you don’t have studded wading boots it is ok. We do also recommend a good wading staff.  Waders and boots are not included in supplied gear; we do rent boots and waders 100$ per trip please contact for size availability.
