The North Branch of the Potomac is what we consider Maryland’s big water river, out of all the rivers in Maryland, this gives us the closest feel of being out west in the US. The fishing opportunity on the North branch gives you a range of species from big Browns, Rainbows and even some Cutthroat. There is two great ways to fish the north branch float or wade, if you do not have a lot of experience we recommend wade fishing. With each option we have to look at the flow (CFS) of the river to make it a safe and successful trip. The North Branch produces some of the biggest and healthiest fish in the state, it is well known for its large Brown trout. Wading the North Branch can be tricky but not as hard as the Savage, it is a large river the still has a high flow rate for its size. No matter what we will make sure you have a safe and enjoyable trip on the North Branch! If you want to do split trip, we will pick you up and leave your vehicle close by in the morning.
