Fishing the Gunpowder is a fun and challenging experience, known across the nation as a Blue-Ribbon Trout stream. In the tail water section will give you the chance to catch wild brown trout and an opportunity to catch rainbow trout. We will use different techniques to target fish depending on weather, time of year or hatches giving you the best opportunity to catch fish. The Gunpowder is one of the easier rivers to wade fish, with smaller rocks on the riverbed it is easier to walk than other rivers. Some of the best areas to fish in still present some challenges to get to, some steep hikes and terrain.
